In this episode we chat with Chris Witaske abut his journey from 2nd City in Chicago to Love on Netflix and beyond.
He is an alumni of The Second City Theater in Chicago, where he began taking classes and performing at age thirteen. He was a series regular on the Netflix original comedy series “Love” produced by Judd Apatow. His other film and television credits include, Lady Bird directed by Greta Gerwig, Unicorn Store directed by Brie Larson, Netflix’s With Bob and David, Drunk History, Arrested Development, New Girl, HBO’s The Comeback, Alone Together, Teachers on TV Land and several appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He’s also performed live at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival in the New Faces of Comedy showcase, San Francisco SketchFest, The Comedy Central Stage and The Mr. Show reunion tour. Chris is also an alumni of the iO and Annoyance Theater’s in Chicago and hosts a monthly live interview show at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater in Los Angeles called “So You Do Comedy…?
